Nashtawala opens second tandoori chai store in Leicester

The specialists in tandoori chai are at it again with the launch of another Nashtawala cafe in Leicester this week.
Three years after opening their first around the corner in Maidstone Road, their second is across Spinney Hill Park in St Saviours Road with indoor seating for around 15 people.
Opening nice and early at 6am each and every morning, they do English and Indian Breakfasts of Masala Omelette, Masala Beans, Sausages, Hash Brown, Fried Tomatoes, Rotis and a lot more extras to add on.
There’s then their famous Tandoori Chai that’s “a special blend of tea, half brewed along with a blend of secret aromatic spices. Empty kulhars (small clay bowls) are heated in the tandoor (Indian clay oven).
“Tea is then poured into the sizzling kulhars, and it froths over and gets fully brewed. It has a distinct unforgettable taste and the soft earthy fragrance.”
This brewed tea can also be enjoyed with their selection of Indian Street Food which in Leicester, we’re told, is popularly known as Nashtawala food.
