‘Halal’ Indonsian coffeeshop Ngopi debuts in London

“The only Indonesian coffeeshop in UK” has opened its second site after making its London debut in east London.
Located in Dalston, Ngopi combines quality coffee imported in from Indonesia with light snacks and meals in a relaxed cafe on Dalston Lane.
More importantly, the owners have confirmed with FtLion that both venues, including the first in Birmingham which opened in 2018, are fully Halal.
With Indonesian beans available for purchase from both their shop and website, Ngopi is the place to be for those seeking after a new coffee experience.
And there’s plenty of beverages to choose from too such as iced pink banana lattes; kopi susu panas, which are double-shot espresso served with milk and palm sugar syrup; and melon milk.
Food can be enjoyed indoors thanks to limited seating at the back with items that include a soup with beef meatball called Bakso Malang; an instant noodle sandwich with cheese called Fried Indomie Toastie; as well as Ayam Penyet with Rice.
A selection of desserts round off an interesting menu like the Roti Bakar – thickly sliced grilled bread with butter topped with shredded cheddar cheese, chocolate and condensed milk.
