Old Chang Kee will be soft launching a second London branch in Fitzrovia today with 25% off all meals until Satursday 7th December.

Having reviewed Old Chang Kee in Covent Garden late last year rating them 3/5, this new location will be larger with a seating capacity of around 30.

We can also confirm that although the food menu is entirely Halal, unlike the first, a liquor licence has been acquired for this venue with bottled beers being sold on site.

Opening at 11am, they will also be giving away a free signature puff with every meal everyday, while stocks last (limited to one puff per person) if you come in and quote “CHOPE” (Singaporean slang for ‘Shotgun, this is mine!’)!

Located on Goodge Street, the brand sell over 1.5 million of their curry puffs every month in over 100 outlets across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.

With over 60 years of experience, we can confirm that while their puffs are exquisitely good (the original recipe is literally safeguarded in a Singaporean bank vault!), they also offer a variety of takeaway curries like their Signature Singapore Chicken, as well as the classic Nasi Lemak, among other things.

Owner Sandra also shared some bad news too this week after her Covent Garden branch was broken into on Saturday and computer equipment stolen forcing her to suspend deliveries for the day.
