Other Side Fried return to Brixton today with permanent site

The hugely popular Other Side Fried will be returning home to Brixton, where it all started for them, with the opening of their first permanent location today at midday.
Having taken over a converted railway arch on Atlantic Road (Unit 14), the 16-cover takeaway is the chicken specialist’s fifth location and located immediately to the right of the underground station.
It should be noted that while the chicken is Halal, pork is served except that Other Side Fried have confirmed with us: “Yes, we cook separately. No cross-contamination occurs.”
Having first started five years ago serving fried chicken out of a van in Brixton, their first restaurant joins their kiosks at Pop Brixton, Peckham Levels and Leicester Square.
The menu will offer a wider range of choices that includes a selection of vegan options such as their first vegan burger and tater tots.
But, of course, it’s their famous fried chicken they’re renowned that includes The Buffalo burger with hot sauce, ranch sauce, pickles and lettuce.
With the promise of serving “the DIRTIEST dirty fries this side of Dirtsville”, they also do Smoked Mash with dredge gravy and crispy onions.
