“The Daddy of All Chips” will be celebrating its launch party tomorrow in Leicester at 11am with 50% off everything.
Located on Granby Street, Papa Frites is a little eatery that’s strictly a takeaway with all chips freshly cut and everything made to order.
Having confirmed with us that “yes, our menu is fully Halal”, it certainly appears to be an interesting one too with their fries made from “the finest of potatoes”.
With cones of chips, or frites as they call them, ranging from small (£2.75) medium (£3.50) or large (£4.50), the first sauce topping is free but all subsequent ones 25p each.
While peri peri, chilli or vinegar powder are available, there’s a variety of sauces, such as, ketchup, mayo, sweet chilli, minty yoghurt, spicy dynamite, Belgian Andalouse, and even chocolate sauce – these last three said to be the most popular.
If you’re looking for something more hearty though, then there’s a number of cheeses, as well as American Cheetos or jalapenos, while all medium and large cones can be partnered-up with chicken bites or fish bites.
But perhaps you might prefer Papa Frites’ signature mixes that include a classic fish and chips, Bombay mix chips, or Gazebo chicken mix.
