Pepe’s Piri Piri chicken hits landmark 200th site

Fully Halal Flame-grilled Pepe’s Piri Piri has opened its 200th store 20 years after opening its first.

Chief executive and master franchise partner, Sohaib Masood, opened the landmark store in Scotland’s capital in Gilmerton’s Drum Street.

After first opening in London in 2004, the brand also has operates sites in Morocco, Pakistan and the UAE.

Having opening their 200th last month they have since opened in York and Lichfield, and are known for their grilled food that includes burgers, burritos, wraps, wings, quesadillas and platters.

The business is reportedly said to have another 14 sites lined up for the next six months, which include Streatham, Aldershot, Leeds, York, and Birmingham.
