Having launched their second branch in Leicester during lockdown earlier this year in May, Phat Buns are now ready to open their first in Birmingham.
Located on the busy stretch of Ladypool Road, the smashed-burger specialists will be having their grand opening promptly at noon this coming Friday 11 September.
But the 62-cover fully Halal eatery won’t be the only business the owners of Phat Buns will be introducing to the people of Birmingham.
Having secured the premises next door, they’ll be replicating the setup of their branch in Leicester’s Western Boulevard by debuting their Doorstep Desserts brand in around 8-weeks time.
What’s more, Phat Buns aren’t just providing customer convenience with a dedicated car park for 20-25 vehicles (entrance rear of shop from Chesterton Road), but they are “the only food joint on Ladypool Road with a car park”.
Phat Buns really impressed us last year, so much so in fact that we voted their Phat Angus burger runner-up in our FtLion Awards Best Burger 2019.
Since that time, they’ve upgraded their menu by introducing a breakfast burger as well as a fantastic looking waffle buger.
