‘Halal’ PinQ promoting sober lifestyle in London Marylebone
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalTouting itself as “London’s only alcohol-free restaurant and members club”, PinQ has opened in Central London’s Marylebone (heads-up Zaman Siddiqui).
Located on Baker Street, this 108-cover venue doesn’t just offer three types of dining – outdoor, public or private – but has also told FtLion: “Yes, everything is Halal in the venue.”
Their extensive drinks menu includes plenty of dealcoholised beers and cocktails, as well as red, white, rose and sparkling wines supplied by Halal-certified beverage company Azanti.
In addition to salads, pizzas, burgers, pasta, and four selection of steaks, there’s also cheesecakes by global franchise The Cheesecake Factory, which started in the US over 40 years ago.
Some flavours to look forward to from their cheesecake range include White Chocolate Raspberry, Bananas Foster swirled with buttery caramel, and Chocolate Tuxedo Cream with layers of fudge cake.
And with the ‘Q’ in PinQ standing for quotidian – meaning “of or occurring every day; daily” – this place remains open into the early hours of the morning: midday to 5am to be precise.
