Piri Fino Portuguese chicken in Birmingham’s Hall Green
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalOnly our Walsall branch sells alcohol, the rest don’t. We can also confirm all of our restaurants are Halal.
A Portuguese piri chicken brand has quietly opened its eighth fast food store today in the West Midlands.
Piri Fino has launched on Hall Green’s long stretch of Stratford Road making this its fifth Birmingham branch to date.
With the other three being in Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Sheffield, the restaurant promises that “we never use frozen chickens”, with their food “freshly prepared – always flame grilled to perfection and never fried”.
FtLion has been informed by Piri Fino: “Only our Walsall branch sells alcohol, the rest don’t. We can also confirm all of our restaurants are Halal.”
Owner, Andreas Elia, says on their website: “I was becoming concerned with the level of nasties found in food – I wanted to create a menu which offered customers great food, made from quality natural ingredients, always freshly prepared with the ultimate level of taste.”
He adds that since everyone was familiar with the Southern African ‘Peri Peri’, which “was nice enough”, he decided to “set on a voyage of discovery in search of the best Portuguese Piri Piri. …
“After three years of loving attention, I had developed the marinade that out customers call ‘Piri Perfection’.”
