Test drive Pit-Stop burgers in East London today
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalPit-Stop are putting the fast in fast food when they open in east London’s Seven Kings later today at noon.
This small 24-cover eatery is HMC certified, and based on the initial reactions, appears to be another addition to the proud line of recent McDonald’s-inspired takeaways.
Located on the busy stretch of High Road, the restaurant will be taking over from Pakistani food joint Karak & Cream.
One reviewer who “had the pleasure of being invited to Pitstop for their pre-launch event” was home cooking Instagram blogger @sanas_homecooking.
Speaking of her experience she said: “Pitstop have large variety of burgers from Angus Beef, Spicy Lamb, Big Pit, Chicken Pit and Veggie. They also have separate kids options & a little happy meal?
“A must is the cheesy fries loaded with jalapeños! My personal favourite was the spicy lamb burger, [which] had just the right amount of spices. The meat itself was juicy and tender [sic].”
