Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is celebrating the launch of its Richmond branch in London today and tomorrow with free food.
Free chicken sandwiches will be awarded for a year to the first three people in the queue today, as well as free chicken sandwiches and merch for the first 25.
Additionally, the first 25 brekkie-lovers in the queue at 9am tomorrow 5th May will be able to grab free breakfast muffins.
Located on The Quadrant, this is the US fried chicken brand’s 18th branch in all, with all of its UK venues offering a fully Halal food menu.
Their website states: “Sourcing UK Sourced, Red Tractor chicken,” before adding: “Everyone is welcome at our table. All of our chicken is Halal and we have certification from the Halal Monitoring Board.”
But FtLion has been informed that Popeyes’ breakfast menu is not Halal, with a representative clarifying: “We don’t serve chicken at breakfast, but our chicken served with our daytime menu remains Halal.”
