Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen will be opening another London branch tomorrow in Croydon town centre.
With doors opening at 9am tomorrow on George Street, not only will the first three people in the queue “win free Chicken Sandwiches for a year”, but also: “The first 25 in the queue will get free Chicken Sandwiches and Popeyes drip.”
While all UK branches serve a fully Halal food menu, FtLion has been informed that Popeyes’ breakfast menu is not Halal, with a representative clarifying: “We don’t serve chicken at breakfast, but our chicken served with our daytime menu remains Halal.”
Their website states: “Sourcing UK Sourced, Red Tractor chicken,” before adding: “Everyone is welcome at our table. All of our chicken is Halal and we have certification from the Halal Monitoring Board.”
