Free burgers for a year at Popeyes Liverpool debut this weekend
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menu • Alcohol servedPopeyes Louisiana Kitchen will be celebrating its Liverpool debut this weekend by awarding the first three people in the queue free chicken sandwiches for a whole year.
With queuing starting from 9am this Saturday on Lord Street, the store will also be giving away free merch and free chicken sandwiches to the first 50 in the queue on the day.
Recently, Popeyes announced that drive-thrus will be part of its future plans before opening a delivery kitchen in north west London’s Brent Cross this week.
Popeyes expect to open 20 restaurants in 2023 which includes Reading, Croydon and Cambridge, with sites in Rotherham, Cardiff and Glasgow early next year.
Founded in 1972 by Al Copeland in Louisiana, USA, the international brand now boasts over 2,700 restaurants, with all of its sites in the UK offering a fully Halal food menu.
