Rikshaw relocating to open 1st Derby restaurant tomorrow
HALAL STATUS Fully HalalThe award-winning Indian street food restaurant Rikshaw Urban Indian will be opening its first restaurant in Derby on Saturday.
Having moved from the Derbion food court in intu Derby shopping centre, where it opened in 2020 before closing last year, the new venue in London Road near The Spot.
Opening at noon, the restaurant will have an open kitchen and will be spread across two floors with takeaway also available.
Rikshaw’s Nottingham branch was awarded best takeaway in the East Midlands at the Best British Takeaway Awards in 2020.
With a create-your-own curry station, the brand does signature Rikshaw Indian Bun Burgers, Rikshaw Roti Wraps, and Rikshaw Salad Bowls.
It also does Street Style Box Meals with Pilau Rice, Rikshaw Biryani Rice, Chips, or Nan Bread as the base, with the choice of a number of dishes like Railway Lamb Gosht, Chole Channa Masala, and Highway Chicken.
