Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner opens second venue in Camden
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menu • Alcohol servedA new vegan restaurant in Camden was not only “full after just 20 minutes of opening their new location” but also forced to close early after selling out of everything.
Describing their run-up to the launch as “touch and go”, Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner finally managed to open yesterday at noon.
Having recently celebrated a year since their first branch launched at The Stables Market in Camden, Rudy’s new location, though only “30 metres from the old spot”, is far larger.
With an American-inspired menu, the brand is famous for their gourmet burgers such as The Dirty Burger and the Buffalo Chick’n.
But they are also known for their staple Reuben sandwich on rye which, going by the comments on their IG account, appears to be quite popular with the customers.
Other dishes to look out for include Cheeseburger Fries, gooey-cum-crispy fried Mozzarella Sticks with Spicy Marinara, their take on the classic Caesar Salad, as well as the Mac’n’Cheez.
Rudy’s has also featured on the Channel 4 series Food Unwrapped, which explores what really goes into the food we eat.
And the brand certainly has a following too with nearly 15k IG followers and just over 4000 on Facebook in just over a year.
