Selekt Chicken debuts in Milton Keynes

Fast food chain Selekt Chicken opened its first store in Milton Keynes yesterday making this the franchise’s 13th branch so far.

Having opened in west London’s West Ealing only last month, the chicken specialists continue their march to challenge established Halal chicken brands Sams Chicken and Chicken Cottage.

This latest branch is located in the midst of a residential area next door to Co-op supermarket making it a convenient takeaway joint.

With seating for around 35, the menu will comprise a selection of meals including wraps, strips, nuggets and a variety of wings, alongside Selekt’s chicken burgers.

The franchise are now in the process of opening another in Willesdon very soon followed by one in Old Stratford next month.

With Selekt Chicken’s first store opening in Harrow, west London, in 2016, they recently introduced a healthier brand called Selekt Fried Free, whose menu was developed over twenty-four months to offer a completely fried-free range of chicken.
