Shax serving smash burgers in Dundee tomorrow

Shax will finally be gracing Dundee with its American-style smash burgers when it opens on Perth Road tomorrow at noon.
Going by the motto “do the simple things right”, this 20-cover, family-run business says it will be using “21+ days aged Angus beef, in our signature blend of cuts. Free range, grass fed and hormone free”.
Alongside their burgers, there will be items like loaded fries, wings, shakes and sundaes, all served in a “fast-casual, urban-modern eatery”.
More specifically, prime cut aged Angus, buttermilk fried chicken, BBQ brisket, freshly baked brioche buns, locally-sourced fruit and veg, inhouse made vegan patties, gluten free options and “Halal certified meat products”.
Some of the burgers include the OG Vegan with an inhouse produced soya mince based patty nestled in between their signature butter toasted vegan brioche bun.
There’s also a 4oz aged angus patty smashed with finely sliced onions (Oklahoma style), double American cheese, grilled green chillies, house spicy mayo and held together by a freshly baked, charcoal brioche seeded bun.
For those who enjoy chicken, there’s a crispy buttermilk bird that’s twice hand-coated and fried chicken fillet (in a signature batter) for extra crispiness, house chilli mayo, all contained in a toasted charcoal brioche seeded bun.
