Sizzling Spice brings ‘authentic’ Indo-Chinese to Leicester today

A new Indian restaurant is to launch very shortly on Leicester’s famous HMC-Halal stretch of Evington Road today.
Sizzling Spice is a spacious 75-cover curry house which told FtLion it promises to deliver “authentic Indian food”.
The menu is massive, with all the traditional favourites as well as plenty of Indo-Chinese starters ranging from Chicken Lollypop, 65, Manchurian, and Schezwan, to the more obvious meat based tikkas, kebabs, wings, and chops.
While for mains there’s karahi, jalfrezi, balti, and tawa, Indo-Chinese again features heavily here with rice and noodle dishes, in addition to extensions of the starters.
There’s a huge selection of Chef’s Specials though including Butter Chicken, Bihari Lamb, Lamb Peshwari, Bombay Keema, Chicken Hyderabadi and Afghani – in fact a total of 28 – with some Special Sizzlers to boot.
