Smokeys – West Ealing, London
THIS RESTAURANT HAS SINCE CLOSED DOWN
This place used to go by some other name not worth remembering; and it seems like the powers-that-be realised that too, and so decided it was time for both a face lift and a new menu.
And what a menu it is too, especially for a small joint, that’s successfully managed to capture a light and airy modern feel about it.
It has to be said though that of all the burgers available, this Smokey Jack Burger is probably the one to get (though their Sunset Strip, with strips of succulent beef, was quite innovative).
This isn’t quite the standards set by Handmade Burger Co.; but it’s full of flavour and sauce, and wery well made.
The bun is a treat. Nice one Smokeys, you nailed it! Now sort out the rest of the menu coz it’s lagging behind.
Very large and tasty portion of wedges too; but for £1.99… a bit much.
If you do, however, get a burger with any side, then the drink comes free as part of their meal deal. Note, however, that this burger is much bigger than a McDonald’s Big Mac.
They even have a selection of ice creams if you’re a sucker for milkshakes.

Some aren't as good as others, with one being very good.
All in all, not a bad effort.
