Smoky Boys intro epic platters & dishes at London Islington
SPONSORED CONTENT HALAL STATUS Fully Halal food menu • Alcohol servedThe UK’s leading Halal burger brand Smoky Boys has remained at the top of its game by constantly evolving with new and innovative menu ideas.
Having originally started out serving gourmet burgers a decade ago, they opted for an eclectic approach by upgrading their menu in 2023.
This involved the introduction of a smoked beef brisket at their flagship store in Southside Shopping Centre in south west London’s Wandsworth, as well as a number of unique starters and seafood dishes.
But they’ve upped the ante again this year by unveiling a fantastic trio of Smoky Platters, in addition to a range of exciting new items, at their twelfth and latest branch in north London’s Islington.
Not only have they created a mind-blowing meat platter that includes ribs, smoked brisket and sirloin steak, but also a seafood platter, with plenty therein such as king and queen prawns, mussels, and squid rings.

The co-founders of Smoky Boys, Sharif Rahman and Hiron Miah, have taken things to another level with their latest creative move.
Their Smoky Platter for four boasts an insane spread for £75 and comprises Ribs, Smoked Brisket, 8oz Sirloin, Half Chicken Peri, 2x American Cheese Burger, 6x BBQ Wings, Hand Cut Fries, Corn Ribs, Macaroni Cheese, Haus Slaw, and Peppercorn Sauce.
What’s more, there’s also a smaller Smoky Platter for £45 (50% off during Ramadan) with 2x American Cheese Burger (the classic gourmet burgers), 6x Grilled BBQ Wings, BBQ Brisket Fries, BBQ Corn Ribs, Macaroni Cheese, and Haus Slaw.
For those who fancy a non-meat version, then their Smoky Seafood Platter for two at £55 (50% off during Ramadan) revolves around a delightfully soothing bowl of soup containing King & Queen Prawns, Mussels, Squid Rings, Cut Fries, and Corn On The Cob.
If that’s not enough, then Smoky Boys have introduced two new starters, with a roasted beef Bone Marrow that requires being scooped out and spread across a pair of crispy garlic bread topped with pink onions.
There’s also a quartet of slow-smoked Chicken Lollipops drumsticks which, having been infused in a house marinade, marries beautifully with the drizzling of a tantalising chimichurri sauce.
For mains, Smoky Boys have a fabulous Surf & Turf that showcases a perfectly grilled 8oz sirlion steak that’s topped with a trio of plump and succulent prawns cooked in a garlic butter sauce.
What makes this dish especially attractive is that, apart from being served with grilled asparagus and those addictive hand-cut fries, diners get to choose either peppercorn, chimichurri, or spicy sauce, along with chilli or garlic butter.

Of course, it would be a sin to visit Smoky Boys and not try at least one of their many renowned burger creations, with their latest being the Smoky Brisket.
With smoky slices of uber tender brisket strips being complemented by haus slaw, gherkins, grilled onions, and a dash of mustard, you’ll be hardpressed to beat this one.
