30% off Spoon & Rice launch tomorrow in Wembley Boxpark
HALAL STATUS Halal chicken options only (prepped and cooked separately)Our Manila Grilled Chicken and Spoon & Rice Lumpia (Chicken Spring Rolls) are Halal. There is NO cross-contamination. Everything is prepped separately.
There’s one more Halal option being introduced to Boxpark Wembley and a unique one at that with the launch tomorrow of Filipino street food vendor Spoon & Rice.
To celebrate their grand opening, they are offering 30% off all their main dishes and sides when they open in Unit 18 at 11am.
As London’s “fastest growing Filipino Street Food” brand, their menu will be drawing on the “rich cultural history of colonisation with influences from Spanish, American, Japanese, Malay, Chinese, Western and Pacific Islander” cuisines.
They’ve also confirmed with FtLion: “Our Manila Grilled Chicken and Spoon & Rice Lumpia (Chicken Spring Rolls) are Halal,” and clarifying: “There is NO cross-contamination. Everything is prepped separately.”
And of course a dearth of Filipino eateries catering for Halal across London makes Spoon & Rice a very interesting addition to the market.
The brand joins other Halal units at the popular indoor arena like Japanese Mitsuryu, Chef Rohit Ghai’s Indian restaurant Koolcha, gourmet burger franchise Smoky Boys, to name but a few.
