SushiDog launches in London’s famous Baker Street
HALAL STATUS Halal chicken Katsu • Rice made with rice wine vinegar • Some sauces contain alcoholFast food brand SushiDog has launched its fifth site in London while having also confirmed its Halal status with FtLion.
Having opened a venue on the famous stretch of Baker Street in Marylebone, the brand is known for its sushi rolls, bowls and salads.
The chicken katsu, while being Halal, is prepped and cooked separately from the non-Halal teriyaki chicken so as to avoid any cross-contamination.
SushiDog further told FtLion: “The rice is still made with spirit vinegar. Some sauces contain alcohol – teriyaki, truffle ponzu, salad dressing.”
The business has another four spots across the capital with Westfield – where it all started in 2018 – Seven Dials, Soho, and Bishopgate.
