Tariq Halal opening soon in London’s Old Kent Road

Having opened a branch in Buckinghamshire’s High Wycombe last month, Tariq Halal will be opening another London branch next month.

Although this was supposed to open on 26 March, the site on Old Kent Road, which will be the award-winning national meat purveyor’s 25th store, has been delayed until 17 April.

This expansion is part of Tariq Halal’s growth plans which include efforts to move into more supermarkets and new locations in the coming months.

A spokesperson for Tariq Halal said: “We’re looking forward to the launch of our store in Old Kent Road as it’s an exciting step in our continued expansion.

“We’ve noticed a continued demand for Halal meat in the UK, and we’re proud to help meet the demands of the consumer. We hope the local community comes out to take advantage of our special opening offers and allows us to be their one-stop shop for all their meats.”

The butchers are known for stocking a range of fresh produce that includes tandoori whole chickens, chicken breasts, mixed lamb, chicken legs, beef on the bone, mutton mince, and more.
