London’s iconic Tayyabs to open first express store in Ilford

The legendary curry house Tayyabs will be adding another string to their bow with the opening of a new express store in east London.

The family-owned and run business has taken over a small bakery on Ilford’s High Street where Tayyabs Express will be “coming soon”.

Although little else is known at this early stage, they have launched a separate Instagram page with the same username.

Having been founded in 1972, Tayyabs is popularly known for its iconic Pakistani restaurant on Fieldgate Street in east London’s Whitechapel.

The award-winning brand is also known for its grand wedding banqueting hall in Pakistan’s GT Road in the Punjab region.
