Toro’s steakhouse is the ‘home of sizzlers’ in Liverpool
SPONSORED CONTENT HALAL STATUS Fully HalalHaving been a staple part of the UK’s Halal restaurant scene since 2009, Toro’s require little introduction as a brand.
With 14 steakhouses established across the UK, they have remained relevant as a brand by continually evolving their menu to successfully adapt to current trends.
And this flexible approach is no better demonstrated than at their Liverpool branch, where the franchise owners have drawn on their Arab heritage to enhance both the site’s modern interior decor and its menu.
Not only can diners, therefore, enjoy Toro’s premium steaks, including a brunch menu that was introduced only last year, but also have the option of a few Arab dishes.
Located on the famous tourist stretch of Bold Street, this elegant restaurant can cater for 100 guests indoors, with an additional eight available outside.

Having opened in April of last year, this Toro’s site was also the first to introduce both breakfast and brunch as part of the brand’s eclectic menu.
It’s only appropriate, therefore, that we begin with The Big Toro’s Breakfast, with free-range fried eggs, quality strips of crispy turkey bacon, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, hash brown, and crunchy sour dough slices of bread.
Given that they’re known for their sizzlers, one item that has proved especially popular with diners in this regard is the Toro’s Special Sizzling Breakfast for £15.
With succulent cuts of steak presented on a bed of breakfast potatoes and paired with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, and green beans, you’ll be hard-pressed to beat this one as a unique breakfast option.

For their mains, it has to be Toro’s Special Sizzler, with a build-your-own approach that involves choosing a protein from a selection of rump, t-bone, rib eye, fillet mignon, lamb, prawn, chicken, and fish; followed by two sides, a sauce, and some extras.
And, of course, a garlic mushroom, gravy, or pepper sauce being poured over a hot platter results in the sheer delight of plenty of spitting and sputtering.
But arguably the most popular dishes are the Chef’s Specials that comprise of the Steak Diane, Spicy Chorizo Pasta, Sea Bass Fillet, Mandi, Cream Chicken Madeira, Cafe De Paris Steak, Chicken Parmesan, and Smoky Short Ribs
Below is the Cafe De Paris Steak, containing succulent chunks of grilled beef of tenderloin that’s taken to the next level with the inclusion of a rich, creamy garlic butter-based sauce, and served with garlic bread.
As for that Arab influence, then given how the lamb and rice are slow cooked in a blend of spices, the Mandi platter has been a huge favourite since being introduced.
What you receive are large, tender pieces of lamb-on-the-bone served on a bed of fluffy, fragrant rice, along with two sauces and a side of salad.
To end proceedings, it has to be Toro’s deliciously soft and chewy signature chocolate fudge brownie that’s topped with vanilla ice-cream, slices of strawberries, and surrounded in a pool of sizzling chocolate sauce.
With so many other dishes to try, including the 48-day dry aged beef options, a selection of burgers and sandwiches, and so many more considerations from the breakfast and lunch menu, Toro’s is the place to hit when in Liverpool.
