A restaurant whose menu is inspired by cuisines that span across two continents has launched its second site in London.
Truro, which specialises in Indo-African food, has opened in Tooting Bec’s Upper Tooting Road with 30% off the entire menu.
With the discount applicable until Sunday 15 December, the restaurant brand is named after ship that “embarked on an epic voyage from the south of India and headed for the western shores of South Africa” back in 1860.
With the menu said to be “tightly focused”, not only is their meat Halal but “many of our spices are imported from the African continent”.
With their first restaurant in Croydon, they offer a variety of seafood that range from platters to individual dishes, as well as burgers, chicken and street food.
