Uncle G’s Gourmet offers gluten-free fried chicken
It’s not often you find places that serve gluten free fried chicken, let alone Halal gluten free fried chicken, but that’s exactly what you’ll find with a street food vendor based in Enfield.
With a mission of spreading the word that great chicken can be enjoyed without regrets, Uncle G’s Gourmet is all about non-GMO products with everything “100% homemade with no artificial flavors and strictly NO MSG”.
Boneless Chicken and Chips £6.50, separate fresh chips £3.00
Its owner, George Menicou aka Uncle G, who’s very passionate about his food, says: “It is prepared with TLC (tender loving chicken). The proof is in the taste of our buttermilk chicken which is made with 15 herbs and spices and is open fried to give that lovely crispy coating.”
Wings and Chips £5.50
He adds: “We offer buttermilk chicken wings with 3 different homemade sauces, mango chilli, buffalo and BBQ and our new jumbo chicken burger.
All these can be served with FFF real potato chips and our homemade coleslaw.”
Not Much Room Burger and Chips £10
They also sell Jumbo Chicken Burger and Chips (£7.00), and a Monterey Mushroom Burger with Chips as a veggie option (£6.00).
