“East London’s finest coffee and dessert company”, The Urban Chocolatier, will be opening its 6th restaurant later today.

Located on the busy stretch of Hoe Street in Walthamstow, the business says it specialises in “handmade chocolates, specialty hot drinks, mocktails and divine desserts”.

Opening at midday and remaining open till late, The Urban Chocolatier is offering 25% off the total bill this entire weekend if you tag them in a photo on Instagram of their food and drink, or of the new store, and redeem by showing the cashier.

Having first launched in 2017 in Ilford, the franchise now boasts a total of five branches across east and west London, that include Whitechapel, Upton Park and Wembley, as well as one in Bradford.

With their restaurants described as “chocolate lounges”, this one boasts a serious interior which includes an Instagrammable flower-wall, artificial blossom trees, and moody lighting to set the stage for their “unique chocolate experience which separates us from the rest”.

Their menu, as you can imagine, is full of indulgences (and calories, of course!) that consist of cakes, platters, cookie dough, crepes, homemade gelatos, sundaes, and freshly-made waffles.

For beverages, there’s a mixture of the hot and cold such as milkshakes, freakshakes, mocktails, as well as espressos, mochas, cappuccinos and lattes.

What’s more, they also sell chocolate boxes, gift boxes and hampers for any of those last minute pressies.
