Wembley ‘London Designer Outlet’ Halal-friendly restaurants
Most in London will know of the bargains to be had at Wembley’s London Designer Outlet shopping centre in north west London.
But this semi-outdoor complex isn’t just known for being the first such outlet to open in London, but also for its many food restaurants.
Located across three floors, there’s a variety of cuisines to choose from, with many being Halal-friendly options.
So if all that shopping builds up an appetite, you can take a break and choose from the 20 coffee shops, restaurants and dessert parlours.

Las Iguanas has a specific vegan and veggie menu that’s available but do remember they also do Halal chicken and lamb.
If you enjoy “fresh authentic Brazilian, Mexican & Latin American food”, then this, with its many stores across the Capital, might be an option.
Big Moe’s Diner is a fully Halal burger restaurant with their Wembley branch being the latest to open.
This has all the hallmarks of an American diner right down to a tee with lots of colour and panache.
While JRC offering limited Halal choices, this “global buffet” outlet appears to offer a wide enough selection of cuisines – from Indian and Italian, to Chinese and Japanese – to make things interesting.
Zizi Restaurant is another place which, though not Halal, offers a good choice of vegan dishes to try.
Italian-American chain Frankie & Benny’s is not Halal. However, it has vegetarian and vegan options on all their menus (just look out for the ‘v’ symbol next to the dishes for vegetarian and ‘VG’ for vegan options).
And if you’re looking for a good thick shake and some sweet stuff, then ShakeTastic is located on the far side of the second floor.

We’ve reviewed their Westfield branch in White City which offers Halal chicken and steak that’s cooked separately.
Having been their twice now, we reviewed their menu in general, before returning to review their kid’s menu a while later.
This branch offers Halal chicken, rib eye and lamb; so enough here to warrant a visit.
Although not offering anything Halal, again they have vegan and veggie options clearly marked on the menu.

Afta Eats is a small dessert vendor that appears to be a hit with the youngsters!
