Wok to Walk debut in Manchester
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal
Popular international franchise Wok to Walk has debuted in Manchester with a branch which we can confirm is fully Halal.
Located in the beautiful Grade II listed building of the Barton Arcade, this large venue offers plenty of seating and a menu that revolves around a build-your-own concept.
The idea is to choose your base from four types of noodles, three types of grains which includes quinoa, or a vegetagble mix.
You then choose from 16 different “Favourites”, though Wok to Walk only advises a maximum of four, followed by a choice of seven sauces and six toppings.
Wok to Walk started in 2004 in Amsterdam but now boasts almost 100 branches world wide, with this new opening being their 14th in the UK.
Wok to Walk also has an app for download with not only secret deals and free wok meals offered from time to time, but where you can also collect Wok Stamps to redeem.

Hi, just note that their Deliveroo page says all items may contain traces of certain allergens and pork is listed. I’m guessing there might be contamination during the cooking process so can’t be called halal.

Hi Zahrah,
That could be a default information note on the part of Deliveroo, because according to Manchester branch’s menu available on Wok to Walk’s website and even their page on Deliveroo, there’s no pork on the menu.
NB. – Not all Wok to Walk branches are fully Halal though, with some indeed serving pork; so be sure to check their respective menus on their website.
Thanks
P.s. – We contacted the branch directly and have been told that this branch does not serve pork and that the meat sourced is Halal.
