Wrapchic opens new store in Wembley Designer Outlet
HALAL STATUS Fully Halal
An international franchise known for its Indian-oriented Mexican burritos launched a new store in London this weekend.
Having opened in Uxbridge intu shopping centre earlier in the month, Wrapchic launched its 28th store by joining the bustling food court of London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park.
Located on Unit 22, Wrapchic offers plenty of other items as part of its fully Halal menu other than burritos.
And they’re currently running a competiton – a free meal for two – which will require you liking their Facebook page, commenting on this post, and tagging a friend (closes 26th of July).
There’s wraps with a filling of salad and chutney on a base of hummus or sour cream, as well as rice or salad bowls served with complementing sauces.
Otherwise, they do what’s known as Wrapchos – warm nachos topped with a choice of filling – and Curry Pots with a choice of rice and any main filling.
More impressively, there’s 12 types of fillings: four chicken versions which includes chicken methi, three mutton based ones, one fish, and four non-meat versions.
They also do breakfast wraps as well, such as parathas, quesadillas, wrapanini (a version of a panini), breakfast muffin, porridge, all of which can be washed down with their own Tapri hot drink.
With its first store opening in the heart of Birmingham City Centre in 2012, Wrapchic was founded by Mahesh Raikar – a man who quit “a well paid job with a fortune 500 company… to bring Indian food in a 21st century setting”.
