Fernando’s ‘Chicken Addiction’ Opens in Reading

A new restaurant celebrating the addiction of chicken opened in Reading’s Oxford Road last month.
Fernando’s is a 40-seater restaurant “specialising in gourmet burgers, fries, grilled food and of course CHICKEN!”
Therefore, expect to find some of the following:
- Don Fernando burger – 6oz patty, cheese, turkey rashers, jalapenos & Fernando’s sauce, etc.
- Single Platter – Includes 1 whole chicken, 1 large chips, side salad and 2 regular drinks.
- Hot Hawaiian – 6oz patty, cheese, grilled pineapple, jalapenos, with burger & mango chilli sauce, etc.
- Assortment of ‘Specials’ including Tikka burgers, wraps, pitta, and a Tikka Combo Mix of marinated chicken breast.
Welcoming “everyone that loves delicious food”, the restaurant is off to a good start too.
According to its Facebook page, they’ve maintained a 5/5 rating after 27 reviews.
One reviewer left a comment stating that Fernando’s “food is very tasty and the staff are very helpful and friendly. A very nice place to eat with your family and friends”.
While Benny’s Gourmet, which opened in April this year, might disagree, another reviewer celebrated: “Finally we have a proper place to eat.”
Fernando’s also has a separate party room in the basement for around 20 persons that’s currently available for higher absolutely free provided you buy some food.
