The UK’s first international Halal B2B and consumer trade show will be coming to ExCel London later this year with plenty of food and beverage being showcased.

Halal Expo London is expected to accommodate around 15,000 professionals from 50 countries and host over 500 exhibitors and 50 speakers on the 5th, 6th and 7th December.

With the latest products and services from the Halal sector to be exhibited, a wide variety of industries and markets are expected to attend to do business and networking.

While the first two days will be reserved for trade only, the last will be open to consumers with the lion’s share of the exhibition floor space of 12,000 square feet reserved for the Food and Beverage section.

With Brexit creating serious economic uncertainties, the Expo will be an avenue for discovering new business areas while creating a platform for investment and trade.

Organised by Halal Exhibitions, it will provide opportunities for building and fostering new trading opportunities for UK based businesses with countries such as Malaysia, Turkey, Philippines, Indonesia and the Middle East.

The trade show will also see the launch of the Halal Economy Conference (HEC) where international industry leading speakers and thought leaders will share specialist insight into the latest innovations in this religious observant market.

The exhibition will welcome senior decision makers from across a broad range of sectors with retailers, distributors, wholesalers, food manufacturers, restaurants, caterers all being represented.

There will also be a UK national competition called #pitchperfect that is designed to uncover budding start-up entrepreneurs and Halal-focused SMEs.
