Kerb Street Food market was at Canary Wharf this month, so I popped along to see what they had and found Mother Clucker.

The owner confirmed that their yummy Cajun Chicken Strips were halal so it would have been rude not to indulge

And this was some of the best chicken I’ve eaten here. So damn tasty! The batter was full of flavour and very crispy – just the way I like.

The chips were also very tasty and it made a nice change that the Cajun rub they use was not too salty.

They offer two sauces: some lemon mayo type thing and chilli. I went for chilli and it was a great complement to the chicken and chips – not too over powering and hot, and adding a nice tangy taste to it.

Price-wise, £9 was a little steep, but personally it was so tasty it was worth every penny.
