Tibits second Veggie-Vegan Branch Coming Soon

Co-owner Rolf Hitl’s family hold the Guinness world record for owning the world’s oldest vegetarian restaurant.

Considered one of London’s leading vegetarian restaurants, Tibits will certainly be worth visiting once the doors to its second London restaurant open later at the end of this month.

Situated on Bankside, Tibits’ global menu varies from nourishing stews to crunchy salads, and includes its famous selection of guilt-free desserts.

With 40 dishes served daily on its “food boat” centrepiece, the idea here is to select and pay, for as much or as little as one likes, by weight:

  • Breakfast £1.80 per 100g
  • Lunch £2.50 per 100g
  • Dinner £2.80 per 100g

Although alcohol is used in some dishes, these are clearly marked on the menu as such.

However, not only does Tibits’ philosophy, and nine Switzerland restaurants too, dictate a menu that’s entirely meat-free, but its London restaurants reserve Tuesday for a full Vegan menu.

Opening early in the morning at 7:30am during the weekdays, Tibits provides a healthy selection of breakfasts and on-demand delivery service via Deliveroo.

With a garden room and seating for up to 120 guests, this new urban-inspired restaurant on Southwark Street will only be minutes away from the Thames and top London destinations, which include the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe.
