Chantal Cafe – Ealing Broadway

In the center of the shopping centre is this gem of a breakfast place.

We didn’t see a “Chantal” there; but it sure fooled the Caucasian locals who invade the place

Don’t think they know it’s run by a Muslim.

Having said that though, we’ve been no less the fools having walked past this little joint for over 20 years oblivious of its Halal status.

Kudos Sir for keeping that a secret for so long, but mash’Allah you’re too good to remain anonymous!

So come what may!

Meat Lasagne – £4.45

The Shepherds Pie we were told was very tasty.

The truth? It was bland.

Hand made beef burger and chips. £4.45

These basic looking chips and “homemade” burger did the job though coz, “That is a tasty burger!”

Spaghetti Bolognese £4.45

What can be said of this other than it being one of the best homemade spaghetti bolognese we’ve had.

Amazing flavours and a whole lot of salad on the side. It’s a large plate and at £4.45 it’s a royal bargain.

Full English Breakfast and Drink £5.95, Omelette +£1.00, Hash Brown +£0.50.

But the show stopper is the all-day breakfast.

Verdict?

Faaaaaantastic!

Value for money at £5.95.

Turkey rashers; hash browns; brown sauce; well done eggs minus any watery runny bits; good size portion – what more could you ask for in an authentic English breaki?

Tesco is opposite the shop! Ergo, good chance the above came from there, hah! Certainly not homemade and overly sweet.

In all, however, there’s a large selection of things at very reasonable prices to choose from.

But in our view, it’s all about the breakfast!
